St Firmina (24th November) and St Olympias (1st December)
The Roman virgin, St Firmina fled from Rome via Civitavecchia to Amelia in 303 AD. She converted her erstwhile persecutor, St Olympias, and both were subsequently martyred. Their relics were translated to a church on the site of the present Duomo in ca. 870.
St Himerius (17th June)
St Himerius (died ca. 570) was a respected Bishop of Amelia whose relics were translated to a church on the site of the present Duomo in ca. 870. They were taken to Cremona in ca. 965.
St Secundus (1st June)
St Secundus was martyred in 303 and buried in Amelia. His relics, which were soon taken to Gubbio, were then translated to Pergola in 1285.
